Highland beach
Vysoki Bereg is the name of the Anapa district and the beach of the same name located on its coast, which is very popular among vacationers. The name convincingly justifies the beach panorama that opens up to the gaze from the embankment, because the coast is located below its order by 30 m. The beach is surrounded by high slopes, giving it especially spectacular landscapes, which also attracts lovers of sea vacations against the backdrop of wildlife with a relatively close location to city amenities.

Most of the High Coast beach (its entire length is about 4 km) is a wild coast where you can easily find a suitable place for privacy by the sea. Only some of its sites are ennobled and have a well-groomed view of the city beach. But the entire long coast here is covered with large pebbles of various shapes, sometimes even interspersed with stone fragments and large boulders.
As for the rest on the coast, it is worth taking into account such nuances:
- The left side of the coast the most equipped for a comfortable stay, and the right one is more wild and picturesque. In the first case, the coast is controlled by rescuers, in the second - for their safety on the water and the shore they will have to worry about themselves. But unlike the local waters, the entire coast is not very clean.
- The left bank of the beach is covered with the most accurate pebbles. A lot of seaweed is most often found on the right bank, but beautiful landscapes and the lack of crowds of vacationers attract here those who value a wild vacation.
- For a convenient location on the right side, you will have to look for a suitable place for a long time because of the uneven distribution the shore of stones and boulders.
- Regardless of the chosen recreation area, the seabed is very rocky, sometimes large sharp stones can be found.

It is forbidden to swim here in a storm. In any case, with children it is better to relax in the equipped part of the beach.
In places, the coast is quite narrow, and there is even a 300-meter stretch where the majestic limestone cliffs rise only 3 m from the sea. This part of the coast is often called the “Dear Kamikaze”, since the risk of collapse is very high, and it is rather unsafe to be located on this stretch of the coast.

- On the left side of the coast you can find the maximum of available services, including cafes and shops (it is worth considering that prices are much higher than on the promenade above), rental of equipment for diving and diving training by experienced instructors.
- There is a paid toilet, but there are no changing cabins on this beach.
