Beach description
The beaches of this island are covered in golden-pink sand. The coast is covered in sand and stones. Thick forests with various flora and fauna are located in the outskirts.
The most solitary beach on Iles de Los is the Roum Beach. It is said that it was this beach that was the prototype for Stevenson's "Treasure Island". It's calm and quiet here. You can set up a hammock on the nearby palms. Fishing is perhaps the most popular attraction here. You can fish from a boat or submerge into the water and fish this way. Diving and snorkeling are also popular here. Pathways and walking tours are set up for visitors to admire the picturesque surroundings of the islands. You can climb the hill in the middle of Tamara.
You can get to the island via a ferry from Conakry - Guinea's capital.
