Kemer beach
The central beach of Kemer is located in the north of the Turkiz Mania yacht harbor. Moonlight Beach is located in the south. A promenade decorated with Mediterranean greenery stretches along the whole coastline. Kemer is Antalya's port located 42 km away from the administrative center.

Beach description
The central beach is covered in small colorful pebbles. The descent is smooth, but deep water starts just a few meters away from the shore. The sea bottom is pebbly. The water is clean and transparent. Low waves are a rare occasion. The coastline is protected from the wind by the Taurus Mountains.
The beach is well-kept, with areas equipped with paid umbrellas and sunbeds, as well as free areas. Showers, toilets, changing rooms and tents are available for visitors. There are several hotels near the coast that have their own territories covered in sand. The hotel beach zones are free for all.
The beach is very popular and therefore crowded. Many young visitors, families with children and elderly tourists come here. It's recommended to come early in the morning as all the spots in both free and paid zones are occupied by noon.
When is it better to go
A comfortable time for a trip to the Turkish seaside resorts – is from July to September. The air temperature in this period rises to + 40 °C, the water warms up to + 30 °C. However, you need to be prepared for a huge influx of tourists.

Kemer offers a wide variety of accomodation options, from hotels to guest houses. You can also rent an apartment or a house in the residential area. There's an opportunity to stay in a 5-star resort with restaurants, fitness centers, pools, spa, massage parlours, saunas and gyms.
Families with children will find aparthotels with equipped kitchens the most suitable place to stay.
Where to eat
There are no cheap cafes or restaurants in Kemer, both on the beach or in the city itself. All establishments are oriented for rich tourists, so it's advised to either book an all inclusive hotel suite or rent an apartment with a kitchen where you can cook yourself. Food can be found in the numerous supermarkets. And if you want fresh vegetables and fruit, visit the local weekly town market near the main mosque. You can get there via the Ataturk Boulevard. Fresh greens, peaches, mulberry, figs, melons, blackberry, cherry, as well as various root crops and groats can be found there as well.
Bakeries with flavorous bread, the tastiest cakes, biscuits and many other bakery products deserves special attention. The Pastanesi confectionery, where local cooks create amazing baklava, candies and national sweets, is located in the town center. Also worth your attention are the kebab shops where you can buy a relatively cheap and nutritious kebab and drink a cup of tea or coffee.

The central beach of Kemer is a popular place among active tourists. You can rent practically any equipment for any water sport or attraction in the local rentals. The whole sea bottom is visible through the transparent water, perfect for divers, snorkelers and underwater swimmers. Those who prefer wind and high speed can partake in parasailing, yachting, water skiing, surfing and kiting. You can also rent a jet ski, a yacht or a boat. Fishing tours organized specially for tourists depart from the pier. Playgrounds with a lot of equipment for active leisure, be it inflatable sliders, horizontal bars, swings or small houses, are installed for children.
Night clubs and bars operate across the whole beach. Foam parties are often organized on the beach at night.
