Kalpeni Island beach
Kalpeni and its three satellite islands are an atoll lying in a huge lagoon of bewitching beauty. Sunlight sparks water, creating the effect of the presence of millions of aquamarines. From Koomel Bay, where the main tourist sites are located, you can overlook the islands of Tilakkam and Pitti. The hallmark of these places are considered to be coral debris brought to the coast as a result of a storm in 1847.

Beach description
The islands forming the atoll are inhabited and frequently visited by tourists. In the vast lagoon you can have a great time doing yachting, snorkeling, scuba diving, kayaking and “reef” walks. The pride of the atoll is the 37-meter lighthouse. Climbing it, travelers can take a look at the island, lagoon, reef, the surrounding body of water and the abundance of coconut trees.
You can get to Kalpeni by helicopter from the island of Agatti (the duration of the trip will be 15 minutes) or by ship, which will take about 3 hours. The public and private hotel residences offer tourists comfortable accommodation.
