Lengkuas beach
Lengkuas Beach is a mesmerizing natural landscape among tall lush palm trees, endless turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean and huge white stone boulders that have become the hallmark of the coast. The beach is located on the island of the same name Lengkuas, you can get to it in 20 minutes by boat from Belitunga.

The coast and the bottom of the coast are covered with soft snow-white sand with golden and pink tints. The water on Lengkuas is so clear that you can see the underwater life without a mask. Near the coast of the island live colorful fish of various species, pristine coral reefs and a huge number of starfish. Moderately calm and shallow water makes the beach an ideal place for swimming and snorkeling. High waves on Lengkuas are rare, so there are many families with small children among vacationers.
The pride of the island and Lengkuas beach is the famous old lighthouse. Built by the Dutch in 1882, it retains its primary function today in the management of ships sailing through the Belitung Islands. The lighthouse is visible from anywhere in Lengkuas, the height of the structure is approximately 50 meters, which is equivalent to a 12-story building. For vacationers, the lighthouse creates an excellent background for a photo and gives a unique opportunity to enjoy a beautiful panoramic view from the top floor of the tower.
When is it better to go?
The air temperature throughout the year differs little and keeps within + 28-30 degrees. In the evening and at night, it is slightly cooler, but the thermometer rarely falls below +23 degrees. The water temperature is also stable. In order to avoid the rainy season (months from December to March), it is better to visit the country from May to August.
