Mussulo beach
The famous Musulu Beach is located near Luanda, the capital of Angola. This is a peninsula with a wide and long coastline of 30 km, where many tourists from all over the world relax every year.

Musulu is a popular resort with a beautiful and diverse seaboard. The coast and bottom are covered with soft sand, the beach is clean, but sometimes the current brings garbage from the nearby city beaches in Luanda, where the conditions of rest are worse. The water in the sea is warm, but muddy. Waves and wind are absent due to location - the barrier island is located in the lagoon.
Musulu is a free elite resort, where everyone is resting, sunbathing on the beach and swimming in the sea. Tourists live in guesthouses and hotels, located near Luanda. There are almost no hotels in Musulu. Room prices in the capital of Angola start at 80 and reach 500 dollars per day. Budget housing - guesthouses - is booked in advance, they are much more in demand. In order not to be left without good affordable housing, travelers book rooms a couple of months before the trip. From Luanda, the island is reached by a public boat. There are most tourists on the beach from November to April.
When is it better to go
There are two climatic zones In African Angola: subtropical in the south and tropical monsoon in the north. From April to September, the country endures chill, dry period of the year, mean air temperature does not exceed +25 degrees; the heat, rainy season falls on the period from October to March, mean temperature reaches +35 degrees.
