Restinga is a famous beach on the peninsula, located in the north of Angola, near the large port city of Lobito.

Beach description
The coastline is long and wide. Lowering of the bottom is smooth, the beach is shallow, it is shallow near the coast. The resort is excellent, well-equipped, with developed infrastructure. Vacationers bathe in the water of the inner lagoon and in the ocean. The coastline and bottom are covered with fine soft sand of a golden hue. Wind and waves are absent due to the location in the lagoon and due to the numerous breakwaters on the beach. Along the perimeter of the resort on the island there are numerous tall trees with lush crowns, in the shade of which tourists save from the African heat.
Tourists book housing in hotels, located on the coastline. Room cost starts at $100 per day and above. For a poor country, this is frankly expensive, but taking into account the high level of service, the price justifies itself. Resting and hotels on the coast are reached by city bus, taxi, transfer.
When is it better to go
There are two climatic zones In African Angola: subtropical in the south and tropical monsoon in the north. From April to September, the country endures chill, dry period of the year, mean air temperature does not exceed +25 degrees; the heat, rainy season falls on the period from October to March, mean temperature reaches +35 degrees.
