Assini beach
Assini is a sandy beach covered with palms and coloured buildings. It's famous for good waves, refreshing air and smooth depth. It's appreciated for clean air, calm atmosphere, perfect tidiness throughout the territory. Here tourists can buy local fruits, African cuisine, soft drinks and souvenirs.

Beach description
There are sunbeds, umbrellas, changing booths and toilets on the beach. Also several shops and bars are opened. Not far from Assini is a small village with a fish market and the kindest people in the world.
The main contingent of the beach: locals, foreigners and population of Abidjan. At the weekends many people come here. If someone wants to occupy a sunbed, it's better to arrive earlier. At the weekdays Assini is almost deserted during the day.
This place is perfect for family holidays because of soft sand and perfect atmosphere. Also the beach is interesting for active travellers, photographers, gourmets and fans of lazy recreation. It is located in 80 km east from Abijan. It can be reached by private car or taxi.
When is it better to go?
High temperatures – are one of the peculiarities of the climate of Côte d'Ivoire. For those who cannot stand the heat, it is better to choose the period from August to October to visit the country when the temperature is + 24-25 °C, the rest of the time it is kept at + 27-30 °C. The same time is a period when rains are not very often. The smallest amount of rainfalls occurs from mid-December to March, and the most rainy periods are May and June.
