Beach description

Stiniva is located in a tiny cozy bay, surrounded on all sides by majestic overhanging cliffs. From the sea side, the entrance to the bay is practically invisible and represents a narrow neck about five meters wide. The beach is quite miniature (not more than forty meters), covered with fine pebbles and slightly reminiscent of the famous Thai Phi Phi Lei, on which the "Beach" with DiCaprio.

The sea near the shore is relatively shallow and very warm, the water is crystal clear, of amazing turquoise color. This attracts scuba drivers who spend hours enjoying the beauty of the depths of the sea. The entrance to the water is smooth, and the bottom is comfortable and safe. There are large stones and rock fragments on the edges of the bay, where sea urchins like to hide, so special shoes do not hurt. The beach is not equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas, but this is not a big problem, as in the afternoon the sun goes beyond the mountains and the thick shade creeps ashore.

There are small snack bar on the beach where you can buy sandwiches, chips, soft drinks and ice cream. Next to it, there are several old fishermen's houses, which are of historical value and protected by the state.

When is the best time to go?

Infrastructure

The fastest and most comfortable way to get to the beach is to rent a boat, speed boat or kayak, or buy a guided tour along the coast. In both cases, tourists are only taken to the narrow "neck" in front of the entrance to the bay, and then they will have to swim to the shore in life jackets. As part of the tour, travelers can also explore other amazing bays and caves, swim in the open sea and, if any luck, admire the dolphins and the sea turtles in their natural environment.

The road on land is much more difficult and suitable only for physically healthy and enduring people. Covered comfortable shoes are mandatory!
