Bačvice is the most beautiful and well-equipped city beach of Split. It's located in a picturesque sandy bay, in immediate proximity to the port and only 1 km away from the center of this Croatian resort. Its convenient location, picturesque views and developed infrastructure have made it the most attractive place for a beach holiday of Split.
It is situated in the southern part of Marjan peninsula, two kilometers away from Split city. The locals call in "Obojena" in honor of the beach cafe with the same name. The beach is visually divided into two parts with a concrete platform, projecting far into the sea Due to this space zoning, you will not feel any chaos and "ant hill" even in high season, and imperial palm trees bring some exotic shade to the beach.
It is situated in the western part of Marjan peninsula, the greenest and the most picturesque one. It is popular among tourists and the locals due to its relative seclusion, crystal clear turquoise sea, and numerous pines on the shore. The sealed road with regular scheduled buses leads from Split to Kasuni. You can also get here by taxi, rented car, or bicycle. A large parking lot located almost by water is provided for personal transport.
Located eight kilometers east of the city center of Split and is the largest beach of this Croatian resort. In 2018, it was completely reconstructed, and Zhanyan met the summer season of 2019 in an updated form. Illegal and morally outdated constructions were demolished, the parking lot was increased up to 400 parking spaces, children's and sports grounds, a swimming pool and an amphitheatre for music festivals and concerts appeared. For disabled people on the beach, there is a special plot equipped with paths, ramps and convenient platforms for the descent into the water.
Residentally located in the eastern part of Split between the beaches of Žnjani and Baczvice. To get there from Žnjana's side, you have to go through the Radisson Hotel and the beach is connected to Bacvice by a convenient pedestrian walkway. From the centre of Split you can get by taxi or bus, the road will take no more than 5-7 minutes.
Firule beach got its name after the namesake district of the city and is a continuation of the beach Bacvice. It is much smaller than its popular neighbour, but it is also sandy, so Firule is very much loved by locals, especially by mothers with small children. Areas of golden tender sand alternate with concrete platforms, from which special stairs are lowered into the water. The sea is shallow and clear, in summer it warms up perfectly and resembles a quiet pool. The beach is protected from strong waves and winds from all sides, so even in the off-season you can always find holidaymakers here.
Located in the southern foothills of the Marian peninsula, three kilometres west of the centre of Split. It can be reached by bus or taxi, or you can walk along the picturesque coastal trail, admiring breathtaking views. The famous Misktrovic Gallery can serve as a reference point - from there to the beach no more than a hundred meters.
