Jezinac beach

Jezinac beach is very picturesque and cosy, surrounded on all sides by lush vegetation, which gives a life-saving coolness. The beach has showers and locker rooms, several beach bars, as well as gazebos and picnic tables in the shade of coniferous trees.

The shore is covered with medium size pebbles, there are rather large boulders on the edges. The bottom is also stony, so in order to protect your legs and not to step on a sea urchin, you should bring special shoes with you.

The sea is as clean and transparent as a tear in some places as the visibility reaches thirty meters. From strong waves and currents, the beach is protected by concrete breakwaters, places for the most comfortable bathing are fenced with buoys. In the eastern part of the beach is organized improvised "paddling pool" for kids, and older children love to dive from a stone platform twenty meters from the shore. Adults can accompany them as well as snorkel, ride water attractions or relax in a coastal bar.

Jezinac beach area is considered to be an elite one, surrounded by luxury villas and expensive apartments. In the neighbourhood, there is Kastelet beach - one of the best beaches of Split, famous for its rousing parties on the beach.

When is the best time to go?

Although the summer in Croatia is hot (the temperature can rise up to 30 degrees), but thanks to the sea breezes it is very pleasant - the best time for a beach holiday. If you want to see the sights of this country rich in historical events, it is better to choose tours in spring or autumn: firstly, the weather is comfortable, and secondly, there are not so many tourists in these times of the year, which positively affects prices.
