Zavala beach
Zavala is a cozy beach area consisting of several small beaches located on the southern tip of the island of Hvar, in a small village of the same name, 13 km from the town of Jelsa. It is famous for its beautiful nature and cozy atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing family holiday-swimming, sunbathing, boat cruises, hiking and cycling along the picturesque coast, covered with rosemary, lavender, oleanders and olive trees.

Beach description
Zavala beaches have a pebble surface and a gentle entrance to the water. The Adriatic sea is crystal clear and transparent. The beaches are unorganized, almost without infrastructure, but nearby in the village there is a restaurant, a market and a small shop. Those wishing to visit this paradise can reach it by car.
Near Zavala there are several attractions that are worth seeing while spending your vacation here. These are the Church of St. Mary, St. Michael's Church, Lapidarium, the remains of the Greek tower of Thor, the island of Skedro, the town of Elsa. There is one of the most beautiful parks of Dalmatia, located in Elsa. Also there are several cozy beaches, and annual wine festival.
