Sirena beach
Sirena is a large public beach located in a beautiful bay in the Western part of Hvar (Hvar island). It is 2 km from the center and 24 km from Bol airport. This is a semi-detached beach with a pebble surface and a convenient, gradual entry into the water. It is great for the senior citizens and families with children thanks to the calm clean water and shallow waters in the coastal area. In addition, the proximity to the city makes it comfortable to rest for young people and adult companies.

Sirena beach is organized, part of its territory is equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas. The main activities available to visitors of Sirena beach are swimming, sunbathing, kayaking, fishing, water skiing, sailing and motor boating. The hotel of the same name is 100 m from the beach. It offers comfortable and affordable rooms. The hotel has a restaurant, cafe and bar. There are several restaurants and bars within 1-2 km from the beach.
Relaxing at Sirena beach is an opportunity to combine sunbathing on the beach with diving classes and sightseeing: Hvar Fortress, Pakleni archipelago. You can reach the beach by shuttle bus, bicycle or car. There is free parking near the Siren, where it is convenient to leave the car.
When is the best time to go?
Although the summer in Croatia is hot (the temperature can rise up to 30 degrees), but thanks to the sea breezes it is very pleasant - the best time for a beach holiday. If you want to see the sights of this country rich in historical events, it is better to choose tours in spring or autumn: firstly, the weather is comfortable, and secondly, there are not so many tourists in these times of the year, which positively affects prices.
