Trstenik beach
Residentally located in the eastern part of Split between the beaches of Žnjani and Baczvice. To get there from Žnjana's side, you have to go through the Radisson Hotel and the beach is connected to Bacvice by a convenient pedestrian walkway. From the centre of Split you can get by taxi or bus, the road will take no more than 5-7 minutes.

Beach description
Trstenik (translated as "Crack") is much smaller in size than its neighbours (about 400 meters) and not so crowded. The crescent-curved coastline is covered with medium-sized pebbles, the sea clear as a tear, the colours of celestial turquoise. The water entry is smooth, the depth increases gradually. To protect your feet from rocks and sea urchins, you should take care of special shoes.
Otherwise Trstenik is an ideal place for comfortable rest for all categories of visitors. It is equipped with sun loungers, sunshades, showers and locker rooms, supervised by lifeguards and surrounded by numerous bars and cafes. On the beach, you can ride water attractions, fly with a parachute, rent a catamaran, canoe or sapphire board. In the shade of the trees next to the beach, there is a playground, there is a net for volleyball and sports equipment rental.
When is the best time to go?
Although the summer in Croatia is hot (the temperature can rise up to 30 degrees), but thanks to the sea breezes it is very pleasant - the best time for a beach holiday. If you want to see the sights of this country rich in historical events, it is better to choose tours in spring or autumn: firstly, the weather is comfortable, and secondly, there are not so many tourists in these times of the year, which positively affects prices.
