Slatina beach
Slatina beach is located in the campsite of the same name just one kilometer from the village of Martinscica on the Cres island. The coastline of this place is a long and narrow coast with two quiet bays. The undoubted advantage of this beach is the international recognition in the form of the award “Blue Flag”, which guarantees the safety of swimming and obliges to protect the environment. In addition, Slatina is considered one of the most beautiful beaches of the Cres island and is a favorite place for family and outdoor activities.

Beach description
Slatina is covered with small light gray pebbles. The coastal area is surrounded by lush olive groves, tall pines and white cliffs. Entering the sea is quite shallow and gentle. Fenced sea area for swimming and snorkeling is provided for the safety of vacationers on the beach.
This place is attracted by beautiful nature on the Adriatic sea and by well-developed infrastructure. There are bars, restaurants, gym, entertainment facilities for children, rental of water sports equipment, diving center, locker rooms, showers and toilets near the campsite. Sports competitions, water aerobics classes and quests are often held on the beach.
Importantly, it is not forbidden to rest with animals on the Slatin. The lessons in the pets' behavior are held for dogs owners.
When is the best time to go?
Although the summer in Croatia is hot (the temperature can rise up to 30 degrees), but thanks to the sea breezes it is very pleasant - the best time for a beach holiday. If you want to see the sights of this country rich in historical events, it is better to choose tours in spring or autumn: firstly, the weather is comfortable, and secondly, there are not so many tourists in these times of the year, which positively affects prices.
