Politin beach
Politin is a beach, mainly belonging to the same-name five-star eco-camping, located nearby. However, it is possible to have a rest not only to residents of camping sites. The beach is located about 2.2 km from the center of the historical city of Croatia, Krk, on the South-East coast of the island of the same name. Perfectly clean coast has allowed this beach to be awarded the “Blue Flag”.

Though Politin beach is small in area, it is rarely crowded vacationers. Mostly this place is visited by families with young children. Entering the water in this part of the island is shallow and partly sandy, making it safe for even the youngest vacationers. The coastal area of Politin is covered with small smooth pebbles of white and light gray shades. The water is crystal clear and calm. Waves on this beach are a rarity, as well as strong winds.
Due to the proximity of the campsite near the beach, there are showers, changing rooms, toilets, rental of umbrellas and sun loungers, parking for cars, as well as a cafe, bar and rental of equipment for water sports.
When is the best time to go?
Although the summer in Croatia is hot (the temperature can rise up to 30 degrees), but thanks to the sea breezes it is very pleasant - the best time for a beach holiday. If you want to see the sights of this country rich in historical events, it is better to choose tours in spring or autumn: firstly, the weather is comfortable, and secondly, there are not so many tourists in these times of the year, which positively affects prices.
