Oprna beach
Oprna Beach is a sand and pebble beach located 60 km southeast of Rijeka. It varies for its small size, bright white color, and mountainous relief. There are sunbeds, sunscreen umbrellas, toilets, food courts, and changing cabins on its territory.

Tourists love Oprna for its gentle depth difference, clean area, and clear water. They like soft air, windless weather, and weak waves. The best views of the ships, rocks of Croatia and the Adriatic Islands are also opened from the seashore.
Guests of Oprna are offered the following leisure options:

- conquering mountain peaks on trampled paths;
- diving, swimming, and snorkelling;
- walking through the local forests.
Please note: shops on the beach are often closed even on weekdays. To avoid unexpected problems, take some water and food with you.
The nearest settlement (Punat) is 7.2 km from the beach. There are working cafes, hotels, bars, restaurants, shops, travel agency, and museum. The city has bus stations, antique houses, ATMs and currency exchange offices.
Important: there are no buses to Oprna. It is possible to get here by car or taxi.
When is the best time to go?
Although the summer in Croatia is hot (the temperature can rise up to 30 degrees), but thanks to the sea breezes it is very pleasant - the best time for a beach holiday. If you want to see the sights of this country rich in historical events, it is better to choose tours in spring or autumn: firstly, the weather is comfortable, and secondly, there are not so many tourists in these times of the year, which positively affects prices.
