Ambrela beach

Surrounded by centuries-old trees and clean sea, Ambrela Beach is a cosy beach area in St. John's Bay. It is quite a spacious area covered with white pebbles and larger stone boulders, where a large number of people can simultaneously relax, sunbathing, swimming, enjoying the beach entertainment. So in the high season, the beach is very crowded.
For the cleanliness of the coast and sea Ambrela Beach is awarded the "Blue Flag" - a high mark, which guarantees the compliance of the beach with high international environmental standards. Thanks to a large area of shallow water, Ambrela Beach is convenient for resting with small children as well as people with disabilities. The sea has a gentle entrance with a transition to the depth, the covering of the bottom - pebble. The beach is located in the tourist area of Veruda, just 4 km from Pula, next to the hotel Brijuni, so it is easy to get there just by walking or by car. The entrance to Ambrela Beach is free of charge.
When's the best time to go?
Although the summer in Croatia is hot (the temperature can rise up to 30 degrees), but thanks to the sea breezes it is very pleasant - the best time for a beach holiday. If you want to see the sights of this country rich in historical events, it is better to choose tours in spring or autumn: firstly, the weather is comfortable, and secondly, there are not so many tourists in these times of the year, which positively affects prices.

Infrastructure
Ambrela Beach is organized, has all the necessary tourist infrastructure. For the safety of swimmers at sea, there is a bathing border and a rescue service on the coast.
