Sablićevo beach
Sablićevo is a quiet secluded beach, located on the coast of a small bay. It is one of the oldest beaches in Rijeka. Clean water, idyllic nature and a minimum set of beach facilities make it attractive for families and tourists who appreciate the romance, calm atmosphere, the opportunity to go scuba diving in the Adriatic sea. Sablićevo beach is located near the city, so you can reach it by walking, public transport, car or bicycle.

Beach description
The shore of the Sablićevo beach is surrounded by rocks and has no natural shade, its coating consists of small and large pebbles, as well as areas with brown sand. The length of the beach is 40 m, width is 10 m. The entrance to the bay is flat, the bottom is rocky, suitable for swimming depth starts at 3 m from the shore.
There is a shower, changing rooms and public toilets on the beach. Parking is available here at a distance of 100 m. There is also accommodation for rent at a distance of 200-250 m. The beach area is not equipped with bars and cafes, so visitors to the beach are advised to bring food and water, a beach umbrella and bedding or a folding sun lounger.
When is the best time to go?
Although the summer in Croatia is hot (the temperature can rise up to 30 degrees), but thanks to the sea breezes it is very pleasant - the best time for a beach holiday. If you want to see the sights of this country rich in historical events, it is better to choose tours in spring or autumn: firstly, the weather is comfortable, and secondly, there are not so many tourists in these times of the year, which positively affects prices.
