Beach description

The length of this picturesque coast surrounded by pine forest in the background - about 400 m. Alleys are laid out near the pine trees, which allows you to enjoy leisurely walks in the shade. However, holidaymakers come here for the sake of a beach holiday, because Drazhitsa is an attractive place:

  • Incredibly clear and clean waters, ideal not only for swimming but also for snorkelling;
  • very fine white pebbles on the beach, which allows settling down here even on towels;
  • quite a wide (about 15 m) coast, so you can comfortably settle down without disturbing the neighbour;
  • very well-groomed shore, which is constantly being cleaned up by local public services;
  • no waves due to the protection of the bay from the winds and gentle entry into the water;
  • a wide range of activities available, including a wide range of activities for children's leisure time.

The last 2 nuances give Dražica the reputation of one of the best places in the region for families with young children. But it should be taken into account that the seabed is dominated by large pebbles and often there are sharp stones, so comfortable shoes for entering the water is simply necessary.

The sides of the coast are framed by small cliffs that are perfect for diving. Next to the beach is the city harbour. During the season, beach parties are often held on the banks of the Drazhitsa River, which also attracts young people, for whom there are also plenty of other recreational activities on the water.
