Beach description
The beach is located in Rarotonga, along the lagoon full of exotic inhabitants - tropical fish and starfish. The descent is smooth and comfortable, the sea bottom is clean near the shore, with corals occasionally encountered the deeper you go. There is a parking lot and a picnic site on the beach, as well as a toilet. You can rent umbrellas and sunbeds in the coastal hotel.
You can dive with scuba gear or explore the picturesque backwater on a kayak. You can also try other water sports, like kayaking.
Visiting Titikaveka will let you relax at the ocean, and the sights of Rarotonga will leave an unforgettable impression. One of such sights is the Maire Nui botanical garden - an actual tropical heaven.
When is it better to go
The Cook archipelago – is a zone of active influence of tropical cyclones and trade winds. The optimal time for sunbathing and swimming is the "dry season” (May-October). The rest of the time, from November to April, stormy winds and rains with thunderstorms dominate the islands. The air temperature changes slightly during the year – from 22 °C to 28 °C.
