Genting beach
Genting is a beach in a bay on the west coast of Tioman Island, 2 km from the capital resort village Tekek. You can get to Genting by ferry from Mersing. Restaurants, shops, clinics and chalets for tourists are located near the pier.

Beach description
The beach covered with fine golden sand is located at the foot of picturesque hills. The descent into water is smooth and the sea bottom is covered in sand and stones. The sea is calm and clean. Genting is quite crowded. There are fans of quiet rest, swimming, sunbathing. You can do snorkeling or diving. The visibility under the water is great. Genting is a good place for families with children, but there are no budget hotels.
When is it better to go
There are no sudden changes in temperature on the beaches of Malaysia's and possible to relax on the islands all year round. There is no particular season of rains and winds, precipitation is distributed depending on the month of the year and the region of the country.
