The sand on Jacmel Beach is yellow and the waves are perfect for surfing. The area is surrounded by beautiful vegetation. A walk along the beach will allow you to discover the works of local art, in particular, to admire the boardwalk with mosaic pattern. After that, you can have a snack at the restaurant, where you will be served fresh, well-cooked fish and lobsters.
Most tourists prefer to get to the beach of Jacmel through the Dominican Republic, from where the planes go to Port-au-Prince. From the Haitian capital, you can take a taxi or bus to your destination.
When is it better to go
To enjoy a vacation in Haiti, it is necessary to pay attention not only on the season, but also to the place of staying. Comfortable temperature is kept all year round, but the rainy season is very unpredictable. In the north, it rains more often from October to March, but the opposite is true in the south of the island.
