Long Bay is a sandy beach in the southeast of Providenciales with the following benefits:
- dense forest a few meters from the shore;
- shallow ocean with small waves and soft bottom;
- deep blue warm water;
- low occupancy (compared to other beaches of the archipelago);
- clean air.
Civilization has not yet managed to ruin this place. There is no garbage, dubious businessmen, noisy tourist crowds and template establishments. 90% of the beach area is “wild sand”, you can safely walk barefoot. Long Bay is also famous for its impeccable order, zero crime rate, friendly contingent.
This beach is popular among couples, wildlife lovers, single tourists. Its remote sites were chosen by nudists and hermits. 90% of Long Bay guests are citizens of Canada, the UK, the United States and Western European countries.
The main attractions of the beach are swimming, sunbathing, hiking along the coast and the forest. Caribbean cuisine is tasted here as well as tropical cocktails. More fun should be found on Grace Bay Beach, 5 kilometers north of here.
When is the best time to go?
The archipelago has a tropical climate with minimal weather changes throughout the year. In summer, the average temperature varies from 29 to 35 °C, and in winter it drops to 26-30 °C. Rains mainly fall in winter, the average annual rainfall is 520mm. Powerful trade winds are observed 365 days a year. A particularly strong wind appears in August and September. Water temperature does not fall below 22-25 °C. In the warm season, it heats up to 30 °C.

Infrastructure
There are no major hotels near Long Bay. Vacationers are invited to rent a room in family-type establishments or rent a villa. The nearest 5-star hotel (Seven Stars Resort & Spa) is 4 kilometers west of the beach. The following amenities are available to its guests:

Long Bay is a half-wild place. There are about a dozen mini-hotels, bars and food courts on its territory. They cover only 10% of the coast. The rest of the beach exists outside of civilization.
