Labadi beach
Labadi Beach, or as it is called La Pleasure Beach, is a public beach located 8 km from Accra, within the city of La. It is one of the most visited beaches of Ghana. Labadi is good because it offers great opportunities for a diverse beach holiday: from passive sunbathing in a deck chair to active water sports. Picturesque panoramas of the ocean and coast, appearing before the eyes of its visitors, make Labadi Beach one of the most beautiful beaches of Ghana.

Beach description
The length of the beach strip in the Labadi Beach area is about 3 km. It is surrounded by tropical gardens, growing along the entire coastline, covered with white sand, which, however, is sometimes contaminated. The presence of wide free space makes this beach convenient for playing:
- football;
- beach volleyball;
- frisbee.
Thanks to the strong winds, that form long steady waves, Labadi Beach is great for windsurfing, kitesurfing and surfing. Visitors of Labadi Beach can enjoy horse riding in addition to classic beach activities.
Labadi Beach is open until late night. In the dark, fires are lit here, parties are held, where reggae music is played. It is possible to get to Labadi by taxi, rented car or tro-tro (public minibus). Entrance to the beach is paid for visitors, who do not live in coastal hotels.
When is the best time to go?
In Ghana, the year-round temperature is between + 24- + 32 degrees. You should remember, that in January-February, dry winds from the desert blow from the north, although their influence is almost imperceptible on the seashore. There are rainy periods in Ghana in spring and autumn, so the best time to visit is summer or winter.

Labadi Beach is a beach area equipped in accordance with Western standards, where you can find:
- rental services of parasols, plastic chairs, deck chairs, tables;
- stationary beach canopies with thatched roofs;
- shower stalls and changing cabins;
- restaurants, bars, hookah bars and snack bars;
- souvenir shops and kiosks;
- the best hotels in the first line.
The beach regularly hosts shows and entertainment programs with musicians, acrobats, dancers and other artists. There are a lot of visitors here at the weekend, because besides visiting tourists, locals go to the beach looking for entertainment.
