Beach description
Diani Beach has a wide beach band and flour-like white sand, very fine. The place is very crowded, and fashionable hotels are located here. But even here, ocean ebb leaves algae and sea urchins in shallow water. You can engage in diving and snorkeling in the reef area during the flood.
There are plenty of local merchants with different stuff on the beach. Moreover, they try to make you buy tours on the ebb territory, telling you about local fauns. It's not so easy to get off back them, and they can be rather aggressive. It is calmer on the territory of hotels. Many of them works under the all inclusive system.
The beach has volleyball playgrounds, you can ride water ski and catamarans, engage in windsurfing and kitesurfing. There are golf and tennis courts. You can ride a camel along the beach. In the neighborhood of the beach, numerous restaurants are situated. Mombasa has night clubs, dancefloors, supermarkets, and national parks, Shimba Hills and Taita Hills, where elephants, giraffes, and rhinoceroses walk.
