Beach description

All beaches of Malindi have white and clean sand. Water here is as clean as possible. Coral reefs that grew close to the shore act as natural filters. They clean water, and also prevent high waves.

After diving, that will surprise even the experienced divers here, tourists choose the ocean fishing where they have chance to catch dorado and tuna, and real swordfish, and even a shark, if they are especially lucky.

The state marine reservation attracts loads of tourists, but the shore also has surprising places, in addition to ocean depths. For example, the tropical forest Arabuko Sokoke. It goes right onto the coast, and you can see famous pumas and tropical butterflies on it.

Hotels are different here. On the Italian territory, they are more expensive and fashionable, and on Arabic, more low-budget and cozy.

You can take a taxi to Malindi from Mombasa.
