Anakao beach
The small fishing village of Anacao, 50 km from the city of Tuliara, has one of the most calm beaches in Madagascar. Small huts are scattered along the coast. In the early morning hours, you can watch how local fishermen go to the open ocean.

Very close to the village is located Anakao beach, covered with light sand. Nearby are located two uninhabited islands - Nosy Satrana and Nosy Ve. To them are being organized day trips. Nosy Ve is home for a large number of tropical birds.
Anakao underwater reefs are great for diving and snorkeling. Researchers of the depths of the sea will find here a myriad of exotic creatures, including a surgeon fish, an angel, a butterfly, groupers and stingrays. In the vicinity of the beach there are ring-tailed lemurs, turtles, chameleons, geckos and other lizards.
When is it better to go
On the eastern coast of Madagascar , there is a humid, tropical and monsoon climate, in the center is temperate and marine, in the south in the desert – arid, in the northern part – subequatorial. The hottest temperature is in the northwest of Madagascar. From early April to late October, the average air temperature is from +13 to +20 degrees, the rest of the year - from +22 to +30 degrees. Depending on the region, 400 to 3500 mm of precipitation falls. Destructive cyclones occur on the coast. The best time to relax on the island begins in April and lasts until November. If the purpose of the trip is a trip to national parks, then you need to go to the resort in the fall, when animals are most active.
