Playa Blanca beach
Playa Blanca is a large beach on the southern coast of Guatemala, located in the Caribbean, at the mouth of the Rio Dulce river, near Livingston. Rio Dulce has a large marina where you can buy a cheap second-hand yacht.

Playa Blanca is covered with fine white sand. The slope into the water is sloping, with a long sandy bar, on which children splash with pleasure. The coastal water is very calm, without waves. The bottom is sandy. The beach is in an extremely picturesque place, near a palm grove. Calm and peaceful atmosphere reigns on Playa Blanca. There are few vacationers, since the destination is not popular due to poorly developed tourist infrastructure.
Vacationers in Livingston will have an interesting excursion program with visit to the famous Mayan pyramids and abandoned cities, mysterious caves in the wilds of the jungle and national parks.

The Guatemalan coast is dominated by a hot tropical climate with heavy rainfall and hurricanes in summer and calm sunny winters.
