Middelfart beach
Middelfart is a municipal beach in the village of the same name located in the centre of Denmark on the Fyn Island. This is one of the most popular resorts in this region.

Beach description
The shore is sandy, the entry into the water is smooth. The sea is shallow – the water warms up well, quickly. The conditions are ideal for holidays with children, the whole family or companies of friends. Infrastructure is well developed, there is everything for a comfortable stay of locals and tourists. Near the shore, there is a beach parking lot, a lot of shops. Cafes, restaurants, souvenir shops. Playgrounds and attractions are installed for kids. The beach is equipped with ramps for wheelchairs – people with disabilities can easily go here for a walk on the beach.
People get to the resort by bicycles, car, public transport. There is a port nearby, which provides an opportunity for a varied leisure time:
- cruise tours to watch whales,
- riding RIBs, canoes,
- fishing,
- boat tours.
Fans of extreme sports are gladly going for a walk on top of the bridge. Fishing is an integral part of recreation in Denmark, so tourists can catch a delicious lunch or dinner by themselves.
When is it better to go
Winter in Denmark lasts 4 months: from December to March. At this time, the maximum air temperature is not higher than -7 degrees. The country has high humidity, so it feels much colder here. In the rest of the year, the climate is marine: dry, clear days without precipitation. Summer is not hot, the maximum air temperature is from 15 to 18 degrees. The peak tourist season falls in July and August.
