Boccadasse beach

Boccadasse is a city beach located in the suburbs of Genoa. The bay is located on the east side of Cape Santa Ciara. A narrow stretch of coast, “sandwiched” between city buildings on both sides, is covered with large pebbles. Entry into the water is convenient, but it is better to bring special shoes with you. The beach is popular with both locals and tourists, so there are always a lot of visitors during the season.

There are no paid services on the beach. There is a drinking fountain right on the shore, and right around the beach there are several restaurants, cafes, bars, pizzerias and gelateria. There is a supermarket less than 1 km from the coast.

In the village of Bokkadassa you can rent an apartment or a house, a large selection of hotels is easy to find in Genoa. The city offers hotels of various classes.

Attractions

The village can be called an open-air museum, so it is an interesting object for tourists. The nearest architectural monuments are the ancient church of St. Anthony with beautiful stained glass windows and a medieval-style castle located directly above the beach bay.

When is it better to go

In terms of climate, the period from May to October is the most favorable for visiting Italy. The air and water temperature becomes ideal for a classic beach holiday, followed by a trip to the coast of Italy. However, it is necessary to remember that a long summer with the scorching sun, warm sea and pleasant sea breeze attracts crowds of tourists.
