Bitez Bay is a calm and shallow bay - an ideal place for family entertainment, jet skiing or banana boat riding, parasailing. It also attracts windsurfing fans: In the morning - novice athletes, and after lunch, when strong winds start blowing, - advanced extremes.
It offers comfortable loungers, umbrellas and wicker hammocks. Many open-air restaurants and bars offer snacks and relaxation in a luxurious setting.
The fragrant groves separating the beach from the village of the same name provide an opportunity for pleasant walks. Gourmets will be able to buy natural products at the weekly farmer's market, and history lovers will be able to visit the ruins of an ancient Greek church with mosaic images of dolphins in the fields.
Only 41 km separates Bitez Beach from Milas-Bodrum Airport, where the beach is easily accessible by transfer. If you arrive here in mid-January, you will be able to attend the Bitez Mandarin Festival and the Spring Festival in early May. Both events are accompanied by music, dancing, handicrafts and homemade baked goods.
When is it better to go
A comfortable time for a trip to the Turkish seaside resorts – is from July to September. The air temperature in this period rises to + 40 °C, the water warms up to + 30 °C. However, you need to be prepared for a huge influx of tourists.
