Karaincir beach
5 minutes east of Akyarlar you reach Karaincir, a beautiful wide beach with dark yellow sand. Hence the name of this place "black rice". It's much quieter than the other beaches on the Bodrum Peninsula, but it's getting more and more fans every season.

The Karaincir is protected on both sides by hills, so the water in the bay is so calm that it is ideal for safe swimming and bathing of kids. Rising above the sea, wooden berths will allow you to take sunbathing, putting your feet in cool water. Snorkelling enthusiasts are attracted by the waters of 14 islands located near the shore.
Along the 500m beach area you will find several commercial enterprises with available products and drinks. In any of them you can rent beach furniture, use a toilet and shower, as well as rent an inexpensive room. It takes about half an hour to get to this paradise corner from the centre of Bodrum by minibus or your car.
When is it better to go
A comfortable time for a trip to the Turkish seaside resorts – is from July to September. The air temperature in this period rises to + 40 °C, the water warms up to + 30 °C. However, you need to be prepared for a huge influx of tourists.
