Yahsi beach
Marked with the Blue Flag, Yahshi is one of the cleanest beaches on the Bodrum Peninsula. It stretches 2 km south of Ortakent and its neighbour, the village of Yahshi. The resort is located 12 km from the centre of Bodrum and 46 km from Milas Airport.

Beach description
Left side of the coastal zone is more tourist-oriented. The gravel and sand cover, as well as the platforms at the boat dock, are occupied by dense rows of sun loungers. Wooden steps lead into the water. The promenade separates a whole collection of restaurants, bars and shops from the beach.
By risking crossing the humpback bridge of the Uludere River Bay, you will find yourself at the beginning of the right end of the beach. Here on a narrow sandy strip, there are boarding houses, boutique hotels and small resorts with water sports centres - surfing, windsurfing, yachting. On the shore of the colourful stalls, pillow stacks, hammocks. In the evening, local artisans set up tents with their goods. Closer to the edge, the coastline becomes rocky and stony - the most secluded place on the beach.
When is it better to go
A comfortable time for a trip to the Turkish seaside resorts – is from July to September. The air temperature in this period rises to + 40 °C, the water warms up to + 30 °C. However, you need to be prepared for a huge influx of tourists.
