Sirena beach
Siren is a beach on the island of Cayo Largo, which many consider the best in Cuba. This is a quiet corner of the Caribbean, remote from the hustle and bustle of big cities, reliably protected from winds and surfs and decorated with luxurious palm trees. Beach description
The sand on the Siren beach is white and surprisingly soft to the touch. The waters that wash the coast are perfectly visible. The bottom is shallow and flat, without a single pebble. The length of the beach is approximately 2 kilometers. Entertainment on marvelous sand is not limited to Sirena beach. There is an aviary with dolphins to play with. In the vicinity live starfish, photos of which will decorate the album of a true connoisseur of exotic fauna.
Despite the fact that the beach is remote from the rumble of megacities, it cannot be called absolutely secluded. Almost daily tourists from Havana arrive here. Restaurants, shops and bars are within walking distance of the beach.
Water enthusiasts can go diving and snorkelling here. There are 2 options for underwater excursions on Sirena Beach. You can go on a snorkeling tour from a place located behind a sand spit in a natural pool or use the reef transfer service for 15 Cuban pesos.
When is it better to go
The most favorable time for a vacation in Cuba is the period from November to April, when the air temperature reaches + 26 °C, water – up to + 25-28 °C. The sea is calm, the probability of hurricanes is minimal.
