Beach description
it is a long drop-like cape, surrounded on all sides by a sandy beach. The sand is a white and yellow. There is often a lot of garbage on the beach after tides or small storms.
The sand on the beach is not centrally cleaned. The place is outside the direct easy access area. It is not accessed by roads. The only wat to get there is by public transport. That's why temporary tours are arranged here more often.
When is the best time to go?
It rains in Suriname from November to January and from May to July. In rainy seasons, you can be bothered not only by rainfall, but also by the fact that they can be accompanied by strong winds that tear leaves from trees. In all other months, the weather for visiting Suriname is propitious.
