White beach
White Beach is a snow-white sand on the river of Suriname near its estuary. The beach is artificially designed to attract tourism. Only a couple of kilometers away is the resort town of Domburg. The capital of Paramaribo is about 25-28 kilometers away. All the way goes on a busy highway, there are regular buses and taxis.

A lot of residents of the capital themselves go to White Beach to relax and swim. A tourist can also be picked up with pleasure. The beach as an excellent infrastructure. There is a metal mesh in the river that protects against possible predatory fish. The sand on the beach is regularly cleaned and also renewed. The water is not very clean, not subject to the temperature changes from currents.
When is the best time to go?
It rains in Suriname from November to January and from May to July. In rainy seasons, you can be bothered not only by rainfall, but also by the fact that they can be accompanied by strong winds that tear leaves from trees. In all other months, the weather for visiting Suriname is propitious.
