Wandoor beach
Wandoor – one of the popular beaches of Bengal is located on the island of South Andaman, at a distance of about 25 km from Port Blair. The beach area is part of the Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park. From here, small vessels depart for charter flights to neighboring islands. On the pier you can have a bite to eat in one of the seaside restaurants.

Wandoor is easily accessible to visitors: municipal and private buses from Port Blair go here from 5 a.m. The journey takes no more than 45 minutes. The resort area is ideal for observing colorful underwater corals and swimming. True, to swim, you need to overcome about 200-250 meters.
From two in the afternoon, when the ebb begins, it is better to sunbathe on the white soft sand or take a walk in the park. If you are fond of caving or just an adventurer, you can take a trip to the caves formed in the coastal cliffs by high tides. In the national park, you can rent a boat and independently reach the islands of Jolly Bouy and Red Skin, famous for coral fields.
