Ochheuteal beach
Serendipity beach smoothly flows into another central beach - Ochheuteal beach. The longest on the coast, its length is about 3 km. Conditionally, it is divided into two halves: north and south. Like any city beach, there are a lot of people, and it is not very clean. The authorities of Sihanoukville are actively improving this territory. In the future, it is planned to expand it, improve the beach infrastructure, remove beggars and merchants.

Beach description
The beach is sandy. The entrance to the sea is smooth, the water is calm and clean when not littered with garbage. Like Serendipity, this beach is periodically covered by garbage currents that damage the quality of the water. But when the garbage is cleaned, you can swim without fear.
The tidal wave makes the strip of the beach quite narrow. The sandy space is so densely lined with sunbeds and umbrellas interspersed with restaurant chairs that sometimes it is difficult to pass between them. At low tide, a strip of coastal sand opens a small passage along the entire beach.
There are always a lot of people in the northern part of Ochheuteal, as not only tourists come here, but also locals in the evenings and weekends. The beach is popular with young people: evening parties last until the morning here. You can find housing at the most affordable prices nearby. In the afternoon, the beach is much quieter.
The southern part of the beach is not improved. There are a lot of stones, so it is not popular. But the boulders are large. They do not interfere with a smooth entry into the sea, and the water here is cleaner. In the southern part there are also several cafes where you can sit without fear of local beggars and merchants. There are a lot of them in the northern part.
When is it better to go
The Cambodia's climate is humid and hot. The rainiest months – are August and September. The air temperature throughout the year does not fall below + 23˚С. While April – is the hottest month. At this time, the air temperature is in the region of + 33- + 38 ° C. The best time for travelling to the coast of Cambodia is from November to February. Water at this time warms up to + 30˚С.

Infrastructure
The infrastructure of the beach is concentrated in its northern part. There are a lot of cafes and restaurants. They put sunbeds on the sand in the morning, and in the evening they change them to soft restaurant chairs and tables turning the space of the beach into the whole restaurant.
The beach has sun loungers and parasols. All of them are paid and belong to local restaurants and cafes.
There are many budget hotels in the vicinity of the beach, prices for which per night range from 10 to 70 dollars. But since the coast is close, it will not be very convenient to relax here with young children due to the constant night noise.
At local restaurants, the cuisine is very diverse. You can find local Khmer food as well as Italian and Chinese. Food prices are very affordable. A full meal including drinks will cost 3-5 dollars per person. In the evenings, there are fire shows, fireworks and music.
You can ride a scooter for 10 dollars on Ochheuteal beach. You can go sailing to the nearest islands. Nearby is a pier where motor boats and yachts moor. Nearby is a park where there are small playgrounds with slides for kids.
