Thian Og beach

The magnificence of pristine nature is the business card of the private beach of Thian Og. An arc of white loose sand, majestic palm trees, azure mirror of water – views that take your breath away. Thian Og is a tranquil area of Ko Tao, which distinguishes it from its lively neighbor Chalok Baan Kao. It's perfect for a relaxing holiday and exciting diving.

Beach description

Even the most demanding snorkeling fans will love it at Thian Og – it really has something to look at. Black reef sharks are often hunting in the bay. If you're lucky, you might meet green turtles. Experienced divers usually use their own equipment at Thian Og. Beginners rent equipment for kayaking and snorkeling at beach resorts.

Along the coast, there are restaurants that offer refreshments after the extreme entertainments. The spa will allow you to get back to normal after an active swimming session or a tiresome hike.

At low tide, it is better to refrain from water activities in order to avoid stepping on tricky rocks. In December and January, underwater travelers need to be especially careful – there is a risk of stumbling upon a jellyfish.

When is the best time to go?

The period from November to March is considered the high season in Thailand. Comfortable air temperature, as well as minimal rainfall create optimal conditions for a beach holiday.
