Long Beach, or Pra Ae, is the longest beach on the island, located near Klong Dao Beach and a big picturesque park with shady alleys, a pong, lawns, gazebos and playgrounds. Casuarina groves are located very close to the beach, with palms and other trees rarely mixed in. Two narrow rivers flow from both north and south sides of the beach.
Kantiang is a big well-developed beach in a semicircle bay of the same name surrounded by hills. It's located on the southwest coast of the island about 20 km away from the main pier and Saladan village.
Klong Dao Beach is located on the Ko Lanta Island in the southern part of Krabi province. It's situated on the west coast of a picturesque semicircle bay near Saladan village. The best spots for swimming are in the central and southern areas of Klong Dao. The northern part of the beach is covered in stones and has shallow waters not suitable for swimming.
