Klong Hin is a wild beach on the southwest coast of the island between Klong Nin and Kantiang.

Beach description
The main highway of Ko Lanta is located very close to the coastline, preventing further renovation of beach hotels and other infrastructure facilities. Some resorts are located only in the north of the beach, where the highway is located further from the coast. Areas near hotels are equipped with umbrellas, sunbeds and beach bars. Klong Hin is covered in grainy white sand, the descent into water is smooth.
Despite the lack of any infrastructure on a major part of Klong Hin, on rare occasion you can see crowds of visitors here. The unkempt coastline has a lot of stones and garbage, and the sea bottom is rocky and very uneven. Swimming here is dangerous.

When is it better to go
The period from November to March is considered the high season in Thailand. Comfortable air temperature, as well as minimal rainfall create optimal conditions for a beach holiday.
