Relax beach

The coast, covered in light golden sand and surrounded by palm groves, is named after the nearby Relax Bay Resort hotel, a small area of which is equipped with umbrellas, sunbeds, a restaurant and a beach bar. The rest of the beach doesn't have any facilities. The closest restaurants, cafes and shops are located in Pra Ae village and at the main highway of the island.

Relax is a comfortable and picturesque place for vacations, swimming and sunbathing. The descent into water is smooth and the sea bottom is covered in sand and stones. There are no waves. The deep water starts about 10 m away from the shore. As the area isn't very well-kept, tree branches and garbage may be found on the shore. Not a lot of people come here, so those who like a calm and quiet vacation will feel as if Relax is a dream come true for those who enjoy to rest while surrounded by nature. Bringing children is not advised considering the semi-wild entourage and lack of basic conveniences.

When is it better to go

The period from November to March is considered the high season in Thailand. Comfortable air temperature, as well as minimal rainfall create optimal conditions for a beach holiday.
