Beach description
The coastline, surrounded by tall hills and thick tropical forest, is covered in grainy white sand. Piles of stones rise in the south of the beach. The descent is relatively smooth and the sea bottom is covered in sand and pebbles. The water is quite calm, but high waves can occur. Two hotels are located in the north of the beach, restaurants and bars also operate here. Umbrellas and sunbeds are available. The beach isn't very popular due to the difficult way of getting here. Those who like wild lifestyle, magnificent landscapes and spending time alone prefer to come here. Bringing children is not advised. Not a lot of tourists can be met. Usually they're from the nearby hotels or just simple adventurers.
You can get to Bamboo by taxi or car. A hard to pass road through the coconut palms inhabited by monkeys leads to the coast. Drive carefully so as to not run over the animals.
When is it better to go
The period from November to March is considered the high season in Thailand. Comfortable air temperature, as well as minimal rainfall create optimal conditions for a beach holiday.
