Bang Bao beach

The strip of snow-white sand right next to the water is small, but you can also get settled under the palm trees that surround the coast. Entering the water is gentle and safe, without stones and corals. The water on the beach is very beautiful in color, which changes depending on the time of day and weather. There is a small area with stones on the coast (in the north), but the rest of the beach surface is pure soft sand.

The main feature of Bang Bao that distinguishes it from many other beaches in the neighborhood is its location in a deep bay. The hills around create a natural defense of the coastal area, so the water here is always a little warmer than that of the neighbors, and there are never waves and wind.

One of the most popular hotels on the island is – Siam Beach Resort (therefore, another popular name for this beach is Siam Beach), but this does not make the coast crowded. Bang Bao can be called one of the most quiet and peaceful places on the island. This beach is ideal for both relaxing and active holidays. It is great for bathing young children, and here you can also go kayaking or snorkeling (you can rent all necessary equipment). Bang Bao is one of the best places in Thailand for a romantic trip or for a family trip to the resort.

When is it better to go

On Ko Kood island, as in mainland Thailand, the busy season lasts from December to March. The weather conditions on the island are ideal for beach vacations and water sports, and it is during this period.
