Coco Plum beach

Coco Plum Beach is an impressive beach on the northeastern outskirts of Big Exuma, famous for its idyllic landscapes. When you are on its coast, there is an illusion that the endless azure of the sky here merges with the ocean - these waters are so pure and azure. The sensations of a paradise are added by the long sandy coast, covered with powdery white sand, which also impresses the sea bottom.

Beach description

Coco Plum is popular not as a swimming site but rather as a paradise corner for long walks down the beach and shallow water, and an excellent place for romantic photo sessions. It's even impossible to take a dip in the sea during the ebb - it's too shallow, but the leaving water allow walking down the picturesque shallow lagoons and enjoying the views of beautiful "sand dollars", the rare oblate-shaped sea urchins. You can even walk to several desert islands on feet.

After the long walks, you can have a rest under shadowy palm trees, surrounding the beach like some emerald necklace. In spite of its special popularity, Coco-Plum Beach reserves its unique air of silence and calmness. It is the best place on the Bahamas for those wishing to enjoy the beauty of nature and romantics. You can take a taxi and get to the Three Sisters Beach from here.

When is the best time to go?

Holidays in the Bahamas are good at any time of the year, but the busy season is in the period from mid-November to May. The Bahamas are disposed quite low in relation to sea level, so the wind blows in the winter months, but it is gentle and soberly pleasant. The air temperature is between 27-29 degrees from the end of autumn to the beginning of summer. Traveling with children, it is better to come in the autumn months, while the spring is more appropriate to go for new emotions, and peacefully enjoy the sunshine – in winter.
