Beaches in Nassau

Cabbage Beach is the main public beach of the Bahamian Paradise island and one of the most picturesque coasts of Nassau. It owes its name to a dance parade held annually in the Bahamas. Among cruise ship tourists, Junkanoo Beach is also known as Western Esplanade Beach or Lighthouse Beach.

This beach is located on the north coast of New Providence, about 6 km east of Cable Beach. The white sandy area is surrounded by green tropical trees, and the tweets of bright outlandish birds add color to this amazing palette of Bahamian reality. Goodman's Bay Beach is a popular coast on the northern outskirts of New Providence. Young people are also attracted to this beach, as beach parties are often held on its shore to the music of reggae and calypso.

Love Beach is a small but very picturesque coast on the northeastern edge of New Providence. This beach is located west of Cape Compass, about 14.5 km west of the center of Nassau. Due to the remote location, few visitors get here, and on the coast you can enjoy the romantic atmosphere and relative isolation from the outside world.

Montagu Beach in the Bahamas is located on the island of New Providence east of the Paradise Island Bridge and is home to the historic 18th-century Charlotte Fort to guard the eastern entrance to Nassau Harbor.

Flipper Beach is located in western New Providence in the Bahamas, just 1.5 km from Clifton National Park. The coast was named in honor of the remake of the film "Flipper" in 1996. Although the beach is located far from the island’s infrastructure, it is not difficult to get to it if you follow the signs leading to Clifton and Lyford Cay Park. The most convenient way to move is to rent a car, public transport in this part of the island does not run.
