The total length of the picturesque shore of Cabbage Beach is more than 3 km. The western part of the shoreline is surrounded by the emerald greenery of coconut palms creating shady places to relax. On the rest of the beach, trees are less common. The shore is covered with white sand, shimmering with impressive whiteness in the sun's rays and incredibly contrasting against the background of blue and turquoise sea waters. That's what made it one of the most picturesque beaches in the Bahamas.

The Bahamas are disposed quite low in relation to sea level, so the wind blows in the winter months, but it is gentle and soberly pleasant. The air temperature is between 27-29 degrees from the end of autumn to the beginning of summer. Traveling with children, it is better to come in the autumn months, while the spring is more appropriate to go for new emotions, and peacefully enjoy the sunshine – in winter.

- From Nassau to the beach you can take a taxi or from the center of Nassau take the bus to the ferry to Paradise Island, and then get on the ferry and walk to Cabbage Beach.

The Doongalik art gallery is about 300 m away and the Aquarium is 800 m from the beach – the best place for families with children. Atlantis Casino is approximately 1.2 km away, a golf course is 1.5 km away, and the old lighthouse in Paradise Island is 2.3 km away.
