Montagu beach

Montague Beach is loved both by tourists and locals as a perfect place for walking and having picnics. The sand on this beach is soft and snow white. The beach line of Montague is defined by four oval-shaped breakerwaters creating shallow pools, so waves are very calm on this beach. And water is perfectly clear with the magnificent emerald-green shade. As the majority of Bahamian beaches, Williams is also shallow and safe. Moreover, coral reefs are situated near the beach, so snorkeling is popular here.

In the evenings, on weekends and holidays, parties and entertaining events are often held at Montague. Moreover, there is a market near the beach where you can find seafood, vegetables, and fruits at any day of the year.

Due to the fact that William Beach is a municipal beach, it is seldom desert; before noon, this place is visited by families with children, and young people come here closer to the evening. A modern gulf field nearby is waiting for active sports lovers.

Holidays in the Bahamas are good at any time of the year, but the busy season is in the period from mid-November to May. The Bahamas are disposed quite low in relation to sea level, so the wind blows in the winter months, but it is gentle and soberly pleasant. The air temperature is between 27-29 degrees from the end of autumn to the beginning of summer. Traveling with children, it is better to come in the autumn months, while the spring is more appropriate to go for new emotions, and peacefully enjoy the sunshine – in winter.
