It's a small private beach on the shore of Willemstad on the West coast of the island.

Beach description
The shore, surrounded by tropical vegetation, is covered with fine white sand. Palms give light natural shadow. There are sunbeds and umbrellas for rent, showers and toilets. Restaurants, bar and cafe serve the guests. There are facilities for people with disabilities. On the pier there is a diving platform. The entrance to the water is gentle, the bottom is sandy and stony. There are a lot of stones in the water, so it's better to buy special shoes. The water is calm, no waves. There is diving school, massage, shop and a small museum. Free access for everyone is provided.
Kokomo is quite popular, it's crowded at the weekend. Among the vacationers are local residents and guests of nearby hotels. It's a perfect place for family holiday, swimming, snorkeling, diving.
When is it better to go
The best time for a beach holiday in Curacao lasts almost all year round – from December to September. The air temperature does not exceed + 30 °C, the water warms up to + 28 °C. During this period, it is sunny and dry on the island. From the beginning of September to December, monsoon showers are poured in Curacao, but even this time is quite suitable for relaxation, since showers take place mainly at night, and sunny weather sets in the afternoon.
